According to preliminary reports, the suspect confronted the MoMo vendor in an apparent attempt to rob the business of a substantial amount of cash. During the incident, the vendor reportedly resisted the attack, resulting in the suspect being shot.

The suspect sustained injuries and was subsequently taken into custody, while the entire GH₵140,000 was recovered at the scene. Authorities are expected to preserve the recovered cash as evidence while investigations continue.
