- Remarks revive debate on ministerial appointments.
Retired Supreme Court Justice William Atuguba has questioned why the Member of Parliament for Korle Klottey, Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, has not been appointed to a ministerial position in President John Dramani Mahama’s administration.
Speaking at a memorial lecture held in honour of Justice D. F. Annan, the first Speaker of Parliament under the Fourth Republic, Justice Atuguba said he was surprised that Dr. Agyeman-Rawlings had not yet been given a role in the Cabinet.

“I don’t know why Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings is not yet a minister,” he remarked during his address.
Justice Atuguba praised the Korle Klottey legislator, describing her as a person of principle, dedication, and integrity who possesses the qualities needed to serve in government.
His comments have reignited public discussion about the composition of President Mahama’s Cabinet and the representation of women in senior executive positions.
