Support the Grassroots to Strengthen the NDC — Ahafo Chairman Aspirant

An aspiring Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ahafo Region, Mr. Owusu Nkrumah Ababio, has called on party leaders and members to prioritise support for the grassroots to strengthen the party’s structures and improve its electoral prospects.
According to him, the grassroots form the backbone of the NDC, and sustained support at the branch and constituency levels is essential to building a strong and united party capable of winning future elections.
Mr. Ababio made the call while addressing party supporters at Goaso.
Focus on Grassroots Development
He said that if given the mandate to lead the party in the Ahafo Region, his administration would focus on providing resources to the grassroots, uniting different factions within the party and making the welfare of members a priority.
“The only way we can strengthen the NDC in Ahafo is to support the people at the grassroots. They do the hard work; they must be supported and motivated,” he stressed.
He explained that empowering members at the branch and constituency levels would help improve party organisation and strengthen its connection with supporters across the region.
Call for Unity
Mr. Ababio also appealed to party members to remain united after the internal elections and work collectively to make the NDC a stronger and more attractive political organisation in the Ahafo Region.
He urged members to put aside internal differences and focus on building a cohesive party capable of delivering victory in future elections.
