The President of the Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) Group, Nana Akosua Frema, popularly known as Mamamo, has encouraged Ghanaians to show greater compassion by supporting vulnerable people through charitable acts and community service.

She made the appeal during a humanitarian outreach organised by the group, where meals were provided to female inmates at the Kumasi Central Prisons as well as people living on the streets of Kumasi.

She stressed that caring for the less privileged is a collective responsibility and urged individuals, businesses, and charitable organisations to consistently assist those in need.

According to Nana Akosua Frema, the initiative reflects the CEOs Group’s commitment to giving back to society and improving the lives of people who are often neglected. She said acts of kindness help restore hope, dignity, and confidence among vulnerable groups.

Receiving the donations on behalf of the Kumasi Central Prisons, Assistant Director of Prisons Florence Asabea Taylor, who commands the female prison section, expressed gratitude to the group. She described the support as timely, noting that it would improve the welfare and morale of the inmates while contributing to their rehabilitation.

The outreach ended with the distribution of meals to people living on the streets of Kumasi, reinforcing the group’s commitment to social responsibility and encouraging more organisations and individuals to support vulnerable communities across the country.
