John Boadu Leads NPP Chairmanship Race as 47% of Voters Remain Undecided – Global InfoAnalytics
Boadu leads Agyarko and Afoko, but a large undecided bloc leaves the NPP chairmanship race wide open.

Former NPP General Secretary John Boadu has taken an early lead in the party’s National Chairmanship race, according to a new survey by Global InfoAnalytics.
Boadu polled 27%, ahead of former Energy Minister Boakye Agyarko with 15% and former National Chairman Paul Afoko with 10%.
However, 47% of respondents remain undecided, leaving the race wide open ahead of the NPP’s national executive elections.
Boadu also recorded the highest favourability rating among the three candidates, with 61% favourable and 12% unfavourable, giving him a net approval rating of 49%.
The survey further shows that 71% of respondents in the Ashanti Region remain undecided, the highest among the regions highlighted.
In the General Secretary race, incumbent Justin Kodua Frimpong leads with 36%, while Titus Glover tops the National Organiser race with 23%.
The survey was conducted between August 10 and 12, 2026, with 2,557 respondents across all 16 regions.
