President John Dramani Mahama has called for a stronger and mutually beneficial partnership between Ghana and South Korea, highlighting the complementary strengths of the two countries.

Speaking during bilateral talks with the South Korean President, Mahama noted that both nations have unique advantages that can be combined to drive economic growth and development.

“Ghana has the natural resources and human resources, and Korea has the technology and innovation,” he said.

The discussions focused on expanding cooperation in areas such as technology transfer, skills development, and investment. According to President Mahama, harnessing Ghana’s natural and human resources alongside South Korea’s technological expertise could significantly boost the country’s industrial development.

“I believe that we can bring these two together in a win-win partnership,” he added.

Officials from both countries expressed optimism that the engagement will lead to concrete projects and stronger economic ties, while helping position Ghana as a hub for innovation and industrial growth in the West African region.
