The Minority Caucus in Parliament is set to present a formal petition to President John Dramani Mahama on Thursday, July 25, 2025, citing unresolved national issues of significant public concern.

In a letter signed by Minority Chief Whip Frank Annoh-Dompreh and submitted to the Presidency on July 17, the caucus requested an audience with the President at the Jubilee House to personally deliver the petition.

While the letter did not reveal the specific contents of the petition, it stressed the urgency of the matters, noting that they demand “fair-minded leadership and decisive action.”

“The petition details issues of great public concern,” the letter stated, adding that the caucus looks forward to President Mahama’s attention and leadership in addressing them.

Annoh-Dompreh concluded by expressing confidence in the President’s responsiveness, assuring him of the Minority’s highest consideration.
