Parliament of Ghana is expected to resume its sittings today following the end of its recess, with Members of Parliament returning to the House to continue legislative business.

According to a communication from the Speaker of Parliament, the House was scheduled to reconvene at 10:00 a.m. this morning.

However, our Correspondent, Martin Kwabena Ahwireng Quaye reports that as of 11:30 a.m., proceedings were yet to begin, with the Chamber still appearing inactive despite the official notice.

The resumption marks the continuation of parliamentary work after the break, during which lawmakers are expected to deliberate on key national issues, consider bills, and provide oversight on government activities.
