Vera Oye Bram-Larbi, a vibrant and experienced member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has officially declared her intention to contest for the position of National Youth Organizer.

Speaking on the Lawson TV/Radio Ghana Se Sen Morning Show with Kwame Tanko, Bram-Larbi confidently stated, “I have what it takes to excel as NPP National Youth Organizer.”

“I have been a lifelong party activist. I joined the NPP at 18 and worked my way up through the party structures, starting from the polling station level. While in school, I was an active TESCON WOCOM at GIMPA, where I played a significant role in mobilizing students for the party.”

“I am a vibrant NPP lady. I have paid my dues, and I started from the polling station. I have worked with many top NPP leaders, including Sammy Awuku,” she said.

Vera Oye emphasized that her commitment to the youth wing has always been unwavering, noting, “As much as I am a woman, I have always aligned myself with the youth wing of the NPP.”

She added that her policies, vision, and ideas make her well-prepared for the role, and she is ready to bring them forward without hindrance.

She expressed confidence in learning from feedback and criticism, saying, “I like the critics more than the accolades because it helps me make the right decisions. I can do it if given the opportunity, but they should watch my back and correct me if I make mistakes.”

Reflecting on societal perceptions, Bram-Larbi acknowledged challenges women face in leadership positions within the party: “People had that mentality, asking why a woman should be the National Youth Organizer. I am here to show that gender should not limit passion, dedication, or capability.”

According to her, since declaring her intention, she has been warmly received by NPP faithful, which reinforces her belief that her experience and dedication resonate with the party’s grassroots.
