IS IT A CASE OF GOODWILL OR A COMPROMISED AND BOUGHT OUT CIVIL SOCIETY?
Most Ghanaians are surprised at YOUR loud silence under the REAL CLEARING AGENT

IS IT A CASE OF GOODWILL OR A COMPROMISED AND BOUGHT OUT CIVIL SOCIETY?
In seven months, under President Mahama has freed his cronies who had cases of corruption and other criminal cases before the courts of law.
These cases include:
1. Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson and Richard Jakpa: Freed in a €2.37 million ambulance scam case.
2. Dr. Stephen Opuni and Seidu Agongo: Cleared of a GH¢271 million fertilizer deal fraud.
3. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo and Anthony Kwaku Boahen: Let off for conspiracy charges, called “political” by the AG.
4. Dr. Ernest Thompson: Former SSNIT boss, acquitted of financial mismanagement.
5. Dr. Kwabena Duffuor and Seven Others: Charges of theft and money laundering in the uniBank case dropped. Others include Johnson Pandit Asiama, Kwabena Duffuor II, Hoda Holdings, Ekow Nyarko Dadzie-Dennis, Elsie Dansoa Kyereh, Jeffrey Amon, Benjamin Ofori, and Kwadwo Opoku Okoh.
6. Oliver Barker-Vormawor and Democracy Hub Members: Protest-related charges dismissed on ground of lack of public interest.
7. Alhaji Collins Dauda and four others involved in the Saglemi Housing Project case on February 8, 2025. The accused faced 70 counts related to financial loss in the $200 million project, but the case was discontinued with a nolle prosequi filed.
8. Kevin Taylor who had a bench warrant for his arrest over the last 5 years because the AG neither showed interest in the case nor entered appearance in court when the case was called. This singular move legitimises insults, blackmail and impunity in social media campaigns in Ghana.
When will CSOs, the Peace Council, Professional Unions, etc find their voices again? Just wondering if this is the case of they not seeing the trend or the government having a goodwill or simply put, a compromised and bought out CSO in Ghana.
Most Ghanaians are surprised at YOUR loud silence under the REAL CLEARING AGENT. You are doing well for Mother Ghana.
Keep it up!
