President John Dramani Mahama has delivered on his commitment to the country’s military leadership by presenting brand-new Toyota Land Cruisers to the immediate past Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), General Thomas Oppong-Peprah (Rtd), and other retired Service Commanders.
The presentation serves as a fulfillment of the President’s pledge following the withdrawal of armoured vehicles that had been previously allocated to the high-ranking officers as part of their retirement benefits.
The intervention brings a resolution to the status of retirement logistics for the former military hierarchy, ensuring they receive appropriate replacement transport.
