Making its second stop in Abuakwa, the Lawson Media World Cup Live Viewing Train transformed the venue into a football festival, attracting supporters from across the municipality and beyond.

The huge turnout created a carnival-like atmosphere, with fans arriving hours before kickoff to secure vantage points for the blockbuster encounter.

The crowd was so massive that many supporters had to improvise to catch a glimpse of the action. While some perched on top of vehicles, others climbed nearby trees as every available space around the venue became occupied by passionate Black Stars supporters.

Beyond the football, Lawson Media ensured supporters enjoyed an unforgettable experience through a series of exciting giveaways.

Lucky fans walked away with television sets, mobile phones, Black Stars jerseys, and Lawson Delay Man Capsules, adding even more excitement to an already thrilling evening.

Adding prestige to the occasion was the presence of the Municipal Chief Executive for Atwima Nwabiagya South, Hon. Wisdom Osei Boamah, who attended as the Guest of Honour.

Amid loud cheers from supporters, the MCE presented Black Stars jerseys to selected fans and encouraged Ghanaians to continue rallying behind the national team throughout the tournament.

On the field, the Black Stars put up a spirited and disciplined performance against a star-studded England side. Although neither team managed to find the back of the net, Ghana’s resilient display earned a valuable point in a tense and fiercely contested encounter.

At the final whistle, scenes of jubilation erupted across the venue as supporters celebrated the goalless draw, recognizing the significance of the result against one of the tournament favourites.

The draw moves Ghana to four points in Group L, placing the Black Stars in a strong position to qualify for the Round of 32 ahead of their final group-stage match.

The Lawson Media World Cup Live Viewing Train will now head to Asuofia for Ghana’s crucial final Group L encounter against Croatia, where another huge crowd is expected to gather to support the Black Stars in their quest for qualification.
