GoldBod Partners with GGSA to Conduct Geological Investigations in Funsi, Atuna, and Bensere East
GoldBod and GGSA collaborate on geological surveys to advance responsible mining and model mine development in Ghana.

- GoldBod signs GHS 27.5 million agreement with GGSA for Phase 1 geological investigations.
- Project focuses on Funsi, Atuna, and Bensere East blocked-out mineralized areas.
- Initiative aims to generate credible data for model mines and promote sustainable gold mining in Ghana.
GoldBod has signed an agreement with the Ghana Geological Survey Authority to carry out geological investigations in the Funsi, Atuna, and Bensere East areas (Phase 1).
The initiative marks a significant step by GoldBod in promoting responsible and data-driven mining practices in Ghana.

The project aims to generate credible geological data to support the establishment of model mines in the country.
Phase 1 of the geological investigation, which will be conducted over four months, is valued at GHS 27.5 million.

The three mineralized blocked-out areas form part of 20 sites released to GoldBod by the Minerals Commission of Ghana.
Through efforts like this, GoldBod continues to prioritize sustainability while working to maximize national gold output for the benefit of all Ghanaians.
