Gospel musician and evangelist Diana Asamoah has called on the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) to take firm action against pastors who sell sobolo and other unapproved food products in churches without proper health certification.

The outspoken gospel artiste expressed deep concern over the potential health risks posed by such unregulated products, which are often sold to congregants during church services.

“Some pastors promote sobolo as ‘blood’ without any FDA approval or testing. This is dangerous,” she stated. “I am appealing to the FDA to intensify inspections in churches to ensure the safety of these items before they are sold to unsuspecting members.”

In addition to her appeal for regulatory oversight, Diana Asamoah also criticized what she described as growing immoral behavior among some religious leaders. She warned that inappropriate relationships between pastors and congregants not only undermine moral standards but also carry serious spiritual consequences.

Her comments have reignited public debate on the need for greater accountability within religious institutions, particularly around the commercialization of unverified products and ethical conduct among church leaders.
