MTN Ghana has announced the official launch of the 2026 edition of its flagship employee volunteerism initiative, 21 Days of Y’ello Care, scheduled to run from June 1 to June 21, 2026.
This year’s campaign will focus on improving healthcare delivery by equipping selected health centres across Ghana with hospital beds and other essential healthcare support systems.
Now in its 19th year, the Y’ello Care campaign continues to highlight the impact of employee-driven volunteerism in supporting sustainable community development. Since its inception, the initiative has mobilised thousands of MTN employees to undertake projects in areas including healthcare, education, youth empowerment and economic development.

Under the 2026 theme, “Expand Equitable Health for Every Community,” MTN Ghana aims to address ongoing healthcare access challenges, particularly in rural and underserved communities where residents continue to face difficulties accessing quality medical care.
The campaign will see MTN staff undertake a series of community-based healthcare interventions, including the repair and donation of hospital beds, health outreach programmes, public health screening exercises, digital health education campaigns, telemedicine support services, and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) activities.
According to MTN Ghana, the initiative will also leverage digital tools and connectivity solutions to improve healthcare access and strengthen long-term health resilience within communities.

Commenting on the campaign, Chief Corporate Services and Sustainability Officer of MTN Ghana, Adwoa Wiafe, said the company remains committed to supporting inclusive healthcare delivery through innovation, partnerships and community engagement.
She noted that the Y’ello Care initiative reflects MTN’s belief in meeting communities at their point of need while using technology and strategic partnerships to improve healthcare outcomes.
MTN further stated that the campaign will be implemented in collaboration with government institutions, non-governmental organisations and local stakeholders to ensure sustainable and community-responsive impact.
The telecommunications company reaffirmed its commitment to driving inclusive development and improving the well-being of communities across Ghana through its corporate social responsibility initiatives.
