Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Destools Kenyase No. 2 Paramount Chief
The Asantehene also destooled nearly all the chief's kingmakers for breaching their oath of office but spared the Kontihene and reinstated the Akyeame and other linguists.

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has destooled the Paramount Chief of Kenyase No. 2, Nana Kwabena Nsia Ababio, for allegedly violating the customs and traditions of the Asante Kingdom.
The decision was announced during a meeting of the Asanteman Traditional Council held on Monday, July 27, 2026.
In addition to the Paramount Chief, almost all of his kingmakers were also destooled after they were found to have breached the oath of office they swore upon assuming their traditional roles.
However, the Asantehene spared the Kontihene from the sanctions and reinstated the previously destooled Akyeame and other linguists serving within the traditional council.
