NSA Releases PIN Codes for 121,754 Graduates for 2026/2027 National Service
Online registration begins for eligible graduates, with applicants required to activate their PIN codes, complete biometric verification and register by August 26.

The National Service Authority (NSA) has released PIN codes for 121,754 prospective national service personnel for the 2026/2027 service year.
The release, announced on Wednesday, August 12, marks the beginning of the online registration process for eligible graduates from accredited tertiary institutions across Ghana.
The NSA said the beneficiaries successfully passed the required validation and verification processes.
A total of 144,023 submissions were received from tertiary institutions. Of these, 122,712 were approved, while PIN codes were created for 121,754 unique applicants. The remaining 958 approved submissions were not promoted pending further verification.
Another 21,311 submissions were rejected and withheld for additional identity verification.
The NSA explained that the validation exercise was conducted in collaboration with relevant regulatory institutions to ensure that only eligible graduates from accredited tertiary institutions are mobilised for national service. The exercise was also aimed at preventing duplicate, inflated and irregular submissions.
Registration Deadline
The online registration began on August 12, 2026, and will close on August 26, 2026.
Prospective national service personnel have been directed to visit the NSA’s online portal to activate their PIN codes and complete the registration process.
Applicants will be required to pay the registration fee via Mobile Money and complete facial biometric verification against their Ghana Card records before gaining access to the enrolment platform.
They must also provide a valid GhanaPost GPS address to facilitate accurate deployment and proximity-based postings.
The NSA said real-time verification mechanisms have been integrated into the registration platform to improve data accuracy and prevent fraudulent enrolments.
Military Training and Agriculture Options
Prospective personnel will have the opportunity to indicate their interest in the government’s Basic Military Training initiative during registration. Selected applicants will undergo a pre-deployment military orientation programme, which will not affect their subsequent deployment to assigned user agencies.
Applicants can also express interest in the NSA Agriculture Deployment Programme, which seeks to promote youth participation in agriculture and support food security and agribusiness development.
Successful applicants under the programme will be deployed to designated agricultural project sites for the duration of their mandatory national service.
The NSA has urged all eligible graduates to complete their registration within the stipulated period to avoid delays in deployment.
The Authority also reminded the public that, under the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119), a person qualifies to undertake national service if they are a Ghanaian citizen who has completed a course of study at a tertiary education institution.
