Arsenal are weighing up a move for Brentford midfielder Christian Norgaard as uncertainty looms over the future of Thomas Partey.

Sources suggest the Gunners are considering a deal worth an initial £10 million, with an additional £5 million in performance-based add-ons, for the 31-year-old Danish international.

Although Norgaard has not previously been a long-term target for Arsenal, he has emerged as a potential option as the club looks to add experience to its midfield. Partey, 32, has yet to agree to a contract extension, and with his current deal set to expire next week, he is expected to depart unless terms are reached imminently.

Norgaard, under contract with Brentford until 2027, joined the club in 2019 and quickly became a vital figure under then-manager Thomas Frank—who has since taken over at Tottenham.

The Gunners’ interest in Norgaard reflects their intent to reinforce midfield depth ahead of the new season, particularly with Partey’s future still unresolved.
