25-Year-Old Japanese Porn Actress Found Dead At Ex-Boyfriend’s Apartment

Popular Japanese adult actress Hana Kuraki, 25, has been found dead at an apartment in Tokyo’s Kabukicho district.

According to reports, Kuraki’s body was discovered by a friend at the apartment, which was reportedly owned by a prominent club owner and had been leased to her former partner, Shota Taira, a 29-year-old host in Kabukicho.

Police and Kuraki’s management agency had not officially announced the cause of death at the time of the report.

Following news of her death, speculation circulated online that she may have died by suicide amid alleged domestic violence and extortion involving her former partner.

Kuraki had reportedly previously told people close to her about problems in her relationship with Taira. A note believed to have been left by her also reportedly accused him of breaking into her home and stealing valuables in November 2025. Taira was arrested the following month on suspicion of assault and theft.

There were also reports of a June traffic incident involving Taira, after which Kuraki announced a temporary suspension of her activities due to serious facial and jaw injuries. Online claims alleged that she was injured after being dragged by a moving vehicle, although these claims had not been officially confirmed.

The club owner, Sakito, who said he was informed by Kuraki’s friend after her body was discovered, urged the public to stop spreading unverified information and speculation about her death.

Kuraki debuted as an adult actress in 2024 and had also worked as a model and released a photobook. She was reportedly scheduled to attend an adult-industry expo in Taiwan later this year.
