- Campaign urges NPP members and the public to focus on renewal and ignore smear reports
The Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong (KAA) 2028 Campaign has refuted a fabricated report circulating on social media, which falsely claimed that Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong declared support for President John Dramani Mahama over his own party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
In a press statement, the campaign described the claim as “false, misleading, and deliberately concocted” to tarnish Ing. Agyepong’s reputation and create confusion among party members and the public. The alleged quote attributed to him—“Mahama toa so” (“Mahama should continue”)—was confirmed as a complete fabrication.
The statement emphasized that Ing. Agyepong has not recently granted interviews with Asempa FM or made any such declarations. It reaffirmed his loyalty to Ghana and the NPP, underscoring his commitment to truth, accountability, and responsible leadership.
The campaign labeled the social media reports as part of a coordinated smear effort by individuals unsettled by Ing. Agyepong’s growing influence and his message of renewal, honesty, and discipline within the party. It urged the public, media, and NPP members to disregard the false claims and remain focused on the campaign’s mission of renewal and hope.
The press statement concluded by affirming that Ing. Agyepong remains dedicated to leading the NPP with truth, discipline, and selfless service.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
KAA 2028 CAMPAIGN DENOUNCES MALICIOUS LIE CLAIMING ING. KWABENA AGYEI AGYEPONG ENDORSED PRESIDENT MAHAMA
The attention of the Kwabena Agyei Agyepong (KAA) 2028 Campaign has been drawn to a malicious and fabricated report circulating on social media, particularly on pages such as Blakk360, falsely claiming that Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong declared support for President John Dramani Mahama over his own party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The Campaign wishes to categorically and unequivocally state that this claim is false, misleading, and deliberately concocted to tarnish Ing. Agyepong’s hard earned reputation and sow confusion among NPP members and the general public.
For the avoidance of doubt, Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong has not granted any interview with Asempa FM in recent times. It has been quite a long while since he appeared on that platform, and at no point has he ever made the statement being falsely attributed to him. The alleged quote, “Mahama toa so” (“Mahama should continue”), is a complete fabrication and a malicious distortion intended to mislead.
Ing. Agyepong has always maintained that his loyalty is to Ghana and to the New Patriotic Party, and that his consistent call for truth, accountability, and responsible leadership must never be mistaken for disloyalty.
This false publication is yet another coordinated smear campaign by individuals unsettled by Ing. Agyepong’s growing influence and his message of renewal, honesty, and discipline within the NPP. Such propaganda only strengthens his resolve to restore credibility and integrity to political leadership.
The KAA 2028 Campaign urges the public, party members, and the media to disregard this malicious fabrication and stay focused on the campaign’s mission of Renewal and Hope for the NPP and for Ghana.
Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong has not, and will never, endorse any opponent or betray the cause of the New Patriotic Party.
He remains firmly focused on leading the NPP with truth, discipline and selfless service.
