The Founder and Leader of Power Chapel Worldwide, Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng, says he is prepared to go to prison rather than abandon his friendship with former Vice President and NPP flagbearer Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

Speaking to his congregation in a video circulating on social media, Rev. Kusi Boateng openly defended his relationship with Dr Bawumia and his wife, Hajia Samira Bawumia, insisting that he will not distance himself from them because of criticism.

He said his friendship with the couple is not a crime and that he has no intention of hiding it to satisfy his critics.

Rev. Kusi Boateng further stated that he has previously been imprisoned and would not be intimidated by the possibility of returning to prison.

His comments come amid ongoing public attention surrounding investigations into the National Cathedral project, on whose Board of Trustees he previously served as Secretary.
