Ghana Jollof Case: Court Denies Bail to Salomey Baffoe
The High Court in Accra has rejected the bail application of nurse Salomey Awity Baffoe, who is facing an abetment of crime charge linked to the “Ghana Jollof” social media account.

The High Court in Accra has dismissed the bail application of Salomey Awity Baffoe, a senior nursing officer based in Techiman, who is facing a charge of abetment of crime in connection with content attributed to the “Ghana Jollof” social media account.
The court rejected the bail request, citing the ongoing nature of police investigations and concerns that evidence could be deleted if Ms Baffoe is released.
Her lawyer, Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah, confirmed the development following a virtual hearing.
The police are investigating activities linked to the “Ghana Jollof” account, including financial transactions involving individuals described by investigators as high-profile persons.
Meanwhile, the police have launched a manhunt for Barbara Asantewaa Koduah, who is believed to be behind the account.
Following the court’s decision, Salomey Awity Baffoe will remain in custody while investigations continue.
