A disturbing incident at Ada Senior High Technical School has led to the arrest of four students after a viral video showed one of them brandishing a cutlass and allegedly threatening fellow students on campus.

According to the Ghana Police Service, the incident came to their attention around 12:10 a.m. on May 22, 2026, after the video began circulating widely on social media.

In a statement signed by the Tema Regional Police Public Affairs Officer, Dede Dzakpasu, police said a night patrol team was immediately dispatched to the school to address the situation.

With assistance from school authorities, officers arrested three students identified as Raymond Gyamfi, Oscar Amemoair, and Odartey Wilson, all aged 18, together with one juvenile who also appeared in the video.

The suspects are currently in police custody assisting with investigations.

The Police Service has urged students to resolve disputes through peaceful and established school procedures rather than resorting to threats, violence, or intimidation.

Authorities also appealed to parents and school management to strengthen supervision, discipline, and guidance among students to ensure safety and order on school campuses.

Police say investigations into the incident are ongoing and further updates will be communicated in due course.
