Central Region: Four Killed in Gory Crash at Esuehyia
Three males and a female died after the Toyota Vitz they were travelling in collided with a DAF passenger bus at Esuehyia Junction.

Four people have died in a fatal road crash at Esuehyia Junction on the Apam-Mankesim Highway in the Central Region.
The accident occurred at about 10 p.m. on Sunday, September 13, 2026, and involved a Toyota Vitz and a DAF passenger bus with a foreign registration number.
Personnel from the Mankesim Fire Station responded to the scene and found four occupants—three males and one female—trapped inside the mangled Toyota Vitz.
The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) said its personnel successfully extricated the victims, who were confirmed dead by the National Ambulance Service before their bodies were handed over to the Ghana Police Service.
Six occupants of the DAF bus sustained minor injuries and were assisted at the scene.
According to the GNFS, the bus was travelling from Côte d’Ivoire to Nigeria when it crashed into the Toyota Vitz, which was heading towards Cape Coast.
The exact cause of the accident has not yet been established.
