Prominent Ghanaian spiritualist Nana Kwaku Bonsam has strongly criticized Evangelist Patricia Asiedua, widely known as Nana Agradaa, following her recent 15-year prison sentence for defrauding churchgoers through a fraudulent money-doubling scheme.
Speaking in a live interview, Kwaku Bonsam insisted that his remarks are not fueled by Agradaa’s downfall but by a long-standing commitment to speaking the truth. “I will speak the truth until I die,” he declared.
He revealed that he had repeatedly warned the public — including media figures like his close friend Big Akwes — about Agradaa’s deceptive claims. “There is no such thing as money doubling in this world. It simply doesn’t exist,” Bonsam emphasized.
According to him, he once recorded a video with Big Akwes to expose Agradaa’s scam, only to later discover that the video had mysteriously disappeared from YouTube after Akwes allegedly deleted it.
Bonsam also decried the mistreatment of victims who fell for the scheme. “The beatings and the way people were treated are just not fair,” he said, adding that he had received countless messages from devastated individuals who were duped.
In preparation for the interview, the spiritualist said he browsed through his Google Photos and found over 20 images of people who had suffered as a result of Agradaa’s false promises.
Agradaa, also known as Evangelist Patricia Oduro Koranteng, was convicted of fraud by false pretence and false advertising after encouraging followers to bring large sums of money in exchange for supposed spiritual multiplication — which never occurred. She is now serving a 15-year sentence with hard labour.
