Asante Kotoko have issued an official apology to their supporters following a disappointing 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign, which ended with the club finishing in 8th place.

In a statement released on Monday, May 25, 2026, the Board and Management of the Kumasi-based giants admitted the outcome fell far below expectations, describing the season as unacceptable for a club of Kotoko’s stature and ambition in Ghanaian football.
