John Dramani Mahama has raised concerns about rising tensions involving the United States, Israel, and Iran, warning that the escalating conflict is having far-reaching global consequences.

Speaking during a presidential iftar, Mahama noted that while Ghana continues to enjoy peace and stability, many parts of the world are experiencing growing uncertainty and unrest.

He urged Ghanaians to offer prayers for the country, its leadership, and regions affected by conflict, particularly the Middle East.

According to him, the ongoing tensions between the United States, Israel, and Iran extend beyond the region, impacting global stability.

Mahama also called for spiritual reflection, urging prayers for divine intervention to soften the hearts of those involved and bring lasting peace.

In addition, he commended Ghana for its strong tradition of religious tolerance, describing the nation as a model of coexistence.

He highlighted the shared values between Christianity and Islam, noting that both religions promote moral living through the teachings of their prophets.

Referencing the Holy Bible and the Quran, Mahama explained that both faiths emphasise love, compassion, and forgiveness.

He stressed that individuals who harbour hatred or harm others cannot truly be considered followers of either religion.
