(VIDEO) JFK Alleges Miracle Aboagye’s Arrest Is a Political Distraction

The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Frimpong Kodua, has accused the government of using state security agencies to intimidate members of the opposition party for political purposes.
Speaking on the matter, Kodua claimed that the arrest of Miracle Aboagye was part of what he described as a diversionary strategy by President John Dramani Mahama‘s administration.
According to the NPP General Secretary, the arrest is intended to shift public attention from what he alleged are efforts by the President to introduce measures that would enable him to seek a third term in office.
The government has not publicly responded to the allegations made by the NPP.
