Two victims of the New Town building collapse have been discharged from the Police Hospital, while two others in critical condition are being moved from Maamobi General Hospital to the 37 Military Hospital for specialised treatment.
Latest updates show that rescued victims are receiving care across several health facilities, including the Police Hospital, Maamobi General Hospital, and the 37 Military Hospital.
According to the Greater Accra Regional Administrator of the National Ambulance Service, Daniel Asare, eight ambulances—among them an Advanced Life Support unit—were dispatched to the scene to assist with rescue operations and medical evacuations.
At the Police Hospital, two patients have been treated and released. Meanwhile, five victims are currently receiving care at Maamobi General Hospital, with three reported to be in stable condition.
The remaining two patients in critical condition are being referred to the 37 Military Hospital, which has already admitted six victims and is making arrangements to receive the additional cases.
Emergency teams continue to work closely to ensure all affected individuals receive appropriate medical care, as authorities keep a close watch on their recovery.
