The Much-Anticipated Lawson Media Inter-Community Gala Kicks Off Today as the Battle for ₵100,000 Begins

The much-anticipated Lawson Media Inter-Community Gala officially kicks off today, marking a historic moment in community football development in Kumasi.

The maiden edition of the tournament, announced by the Board and Management of Lawson Media, will run from December 18 to December 24, 2025, at the Cocoa Ase Astro Turf in Bantama, bringing together football talent, entertainment, and community pride under one roof.

With a total prize package of GHS 100,000, the gala stands as one of the most lucrative inter-community football competitions in the Ashanti Region.

• Third Place: GHS 20,000

• Fourth Place: GHS 10,000

Beyond the cash rewards, all 24 participating teams will receive sets of jerseys, reinforcing the organizers’ commitment to grassroots football development.
