KUANTAN – Tragedy struck in Kuantan early this morning as a family of five was discovered dead inside their home on Lorong Cherating Damai, in what police believe to be a case of murder.
Kuantan Police Chief, Ashari Abu Samah, confirmed that the incident likely occurred around 7 a.m. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
As of 10:10 a.m., the bodies had not yet been removed from the house, with a forensic team combing the scene for evidence. Several relatives and neighbors gathered outside the residence as police secured the area to aid their investigation.
Pahang Police Chief, Yahaya Othman, who visited the scene, is scheduled to hold a press briefing to provide further updates on the case. The police have appealed for any witnesses with information to come forward as inquiries continue.
