Salomey Baffoe Granted GH¢100,000 Bail in Ghana Jollof Case
The Adenta Circuit Court granted the 40-year-old mother of three bail with two sureties, both required to be civil servants earning at least GH¢3,000 monthly.

The Adenta Circuit Court has granted Salomey Awiti Baffoe bail in the sum of GH¢100,000 with two sureties, both of whom must be civil servants earning at least GH¢3,000 per month.
Salomey Baffoe is facing allegations of being an accomplice to controversial Ghanaian TikToker, Ghana Jollof.
She was represented in court by the Member of Parliament for Manhyia South, Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah, who welcomed the court’s decision to grant her bail.
Salomey was arrested on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at her residence in Hansua, near Techiman in the Bono East Region.
The case attracted public attention following reports of her alleged midnight detention.
The 40-year-old mother of three was reportedly taken from her home at about 11:30 p.m. by three persons who identified themselves as National Security operatives.
Her family subsequently struggled to establish her whereabouts, while the Bono East Regional Police Command and Regional National Security officials were reportedly said to have had no record of the operation at the time.
The allegations surrounding her arrest and her alleged connection to Ghana Jollof remain subject to the ongoing legal process.
