Pastor Philip Sarpong, CEO of Perfect Series Publications, has predicted a highly competitive final in the northern sector of the 3rd edition of the Perfect Series Basic Schools Assessment Contest (PSBSAC), following the outstanding performances of candidates in the semi-finals.

The schools advancing to the finals include O.A Legacy International at Feyiase, Unique Educational Complex, Eldia Montessori School, Reverence Preparatory School, Bosomtwe STEM Academy, and Konadu Educational Complex.

O.A Legacy International emerged as the winner of the semi-final contest held on Thursday, 26th March 2026, maintaining their status as defending champions of the northern sector. The top three schools from this northern sector will later face the top three from the southern sector in the highly anticipated national contest.

The winner of the northern sector is set to receive GHC 6,000, along with awards, while other schools will also be recognized for their performance.

Speaking ahead of the finals scheduled for Wednesday, 1st April 2026, Pastor Sarpong expressed surprise and delight at the level of preparation and skill demonstrated by the students.

“The dynamics have changed. The students’ performances in the semi-finals have been remarkable, and it shows that they have a brighter future—not just for themselves, but for Ghana,” he said.
“The finals will be keenly contested because all the schools participating are very serious and determined.”

Pastor Sarpong highlighted the positive impact of the contest in nurturing academic excellence and fostering healthy competition among basic schools. He emphasized that such initiatives are vital for preparing students to meet future educational and professional challenges.

The northern sector finals will feature six schools, with the top three advancing to compete against the best performers from the southern sector in the national contest. Pastor Sarpong expressed confidence that the upcoming showdown would showcase talent, dedication, and teamwork at its best.

“I am confident that the finalists will put up an impressive performance. This contest continues to reveal the immense potential of our students,” he added.
