- Perfect Star Media wins four awards
- Star Plus TV named Best TV Station
- Perfect Series wins Children Development Programme award
Perfect Star Media has recorded a remarkable achievement at the Jupiter Media Achievers Awards 2026, winning four prestigious awards across television, health programming and education.
The awards recognise the media company’s growing impact in Ghana’s media and education sectors, with two of its personalities, its flagship television station and an education initiative all receiving top honours.
Abgewu Emmanuella was named Best Health Programme Host of the Year for her outstanding work on Star Plus TV, while Akosua Boatemaa was crowned Best TV Morning Show Host of the Year, also on Star Plus TV.

The achievements continued with Star Plus TV being adjudged Best TV Station of the Year, further affirming the station’s growing influence and commitment to quality broadcasting.

The fourth award went to the Perfect Series Basic Schools Assessment Contest, which was named Best Children Development Programme of the Year.

The Perfect Series Basic Schools Assessment Contest was established three years ago with the goal of promoting academic excellence, encouraging healthy competition among pupils and supporting the development of young learners across Ghana.
Over the past three years, the initiative has continued to make an impact in the education sector by providing a platform for basic school pupils to test their knowledge, build confidence and develop a stronger interest in academic excellence.

The success of Perfect Star Media is being led by its Chief Executive Officer, Pastor Philip Sarpong, whose vision has helped expand the organisation’s presence across media and education.
Beyond its media operations, Perfect Star Media is also contributing to education through the Perfect Series publications, a range of NaCCA-approved educational textbooks and learning materials aligned with the Ghana Education Service curriculum.

The Perfect Series covers various levels of basic education, from Nursery and Kindergarten through Primary 1–6 and Junior High School 1–3. The publications cover key subjects including English Language, Computing, Career Technology, History of Ghana, Science and Literacy.
With schools now reopened for the new academic year, parents and guardians are encouraged to equip their wards with the appropriate learning materials to support their studies.

The Perfect Series textbooks provide curriculum-aligned learning resources designed to complement classroom teaching and help pupils strengthen their understanding of key subjects.

The four awards at the Jupiter Media Achievers Awards 2026 therefore represent more than recognition for Perfect Star Media. They highlight the organisation’s growing contribution to quality broadcasting, health communication, children’s development and education in Ghana.
