Oheneba Nana Asiedu has been elected as the Second Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Atwima Nwabiagya South Constituency after securing a commanding victory in the constituency executive elections held at St. James Anglican Church, Atwima Maakro.

According to the official statement of poll, Oheneba Nana Asiedu polled 859 votes, comfortably defeating his opponents, Appiah Albert, who obtained 382 votes, and Eric Boafo Appiah, who garnered 235 votes.

Out of 1,505 registered voters, 1,478 delegates cast their ballots, with 1,476 valid votes and 2 rejected ballots, reflecting a high turnout and a peaceful electoral process.

The election formed part of the NPP’s nationwide constituency executive elections, which saw delegates elect new executives to steer the affairs of the party at the constituency level. Official reports also confirmed Oheneba Nana Asiedu’s election as Second Vice Chairman of the constituency.
