NSA Reopens PIN Code Application Portal for Defaulters, Private Candidates
NSA gives defaulters, private candidates and eligible graduates another opportunity to complete registration and obtain PIN codes for the 2026/2027 national service year.

The National Service Authority (NSA) has reopened its online portal to allow eligible applicants under the defaulter and private candidate categories to apply for PIN codes for the 2026/2027 national service year.
The portal will be accessible from Monday, August 31, to Friday, September 4, 2026, according to a statement issued by the Authority on Sunday, August 30.
The extension is aimed at giving eligible applicants another opportunity to complete their registration and regularise their status.
The NSA said the opportunity covers Ghanaian nationals who completed their tertiary education outside Ghana, private candidates, defaulters, and applicants who experienced difficulties during the registration process.
Applicants have been directed to complete their online registration and submit all required supporting documents to designated NSA offices within the stipulated period.
The Authority further reminded the public that under the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119), every Ghanaian citizen who completes an accredited tertiary education programme is required to undertake national service.
The NSA is therefore urging all eligible persons who have not yet regularised their status to take advantage of the extension and obtain their PIN codes before the deadline.
