NPP Elections Committee Pays Courtesy Visit To Akufo-Addo
Nana Akufo-Addo is expected to attend the NPP’s 2026 National Delegates Conference as preparations for the national officers’ elections continue.

The National Officers Elections Committee (NOEC) of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has paid a courtesy visit to former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as part of preparations for the party’s 2026 National Delegates Conference.
The committee visited the former President at his office to formally invite him to the conference, which will form part of the process to elect the party’s next national officers.
During the meeting, Nana Akufo-Addo commended the committee for the work done so far towards organising the conference and the national officers’ elections.
He also highlighted the importance of strengthening the party’s internal organisation and grassroots structures.

According to the NOEC, the former President expressed support for its work and assured the committee of his attendance at the conference.
Nana Akufo-Addo also spoke about the NPP’s preparations ahead of the 2028 general election, stressing the need for unity, renewed commitment and a strong organisational foundation.
The engagement forms part of ongoing consultations ahead of the NPP’s national officers’ elections, which are scheduled for October 3, 2026.
