Manchester City has finalized a deal worth up to £65 million to acquire Iliman Ndiaye from Everton. The transfer package includes an initial fee of £60 million, with an additional £5 million in potential add-ons.
Meanwhile, Tottenham had reached an agreement with Everton on Friday night for Ndiaye, 26, amid speculation that Richarlison might be involved in a separate transfer.
However, sources indicate that Richarlison was unable to agree on personal terms with his former club, Everton, who reportedly offered £35 million for the Brazil international.
As a result, Tottenham’s plans to proceed with Ndiaye’s transfer have been halted.
In an emotional Instagram post on Monday, Richarlison stated: “After everything I’ve been through in the last few years, I’ve decided that never again will anyone decide my future for me.”
