President John Dramani Mahama has been conferred with an Honorary Doctor of Philosophy in Public Administration by Yonsei University in Seoul, in recognition of his leadership and contributions to governance and public service.

The honour was bestowed on President Mahama during a special ceremony at Yonsei University as part of his official visit to South Korea.

The university commended the Ghanaian leader for his commitment to democratic governance, peace, and development, both in Ghana and across Africa.

Receiving the award, President Mahama expressed gratitude to the government and people of South Korea for the warm hospitality extended to him and his delegation.

He described the recognition as one he accepts on behalf of the people of Ghana, noting that it symbolizes the deep respect and growing relations between Ghana and South Korea.
