Justin Kodua Frimpong has been re-elected as the General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) following the party’s National Delegates Conference at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

Justin Kodua secured an overwhelming 4,486 votes, the highest number recorded by any candidate in the NPP’s 2026 national executive elections.

His closest contender, Sylvester Tetteh, polled 1,340 votes, while former Subin MP Eugene Boakye Antwi secured 162 votes. Dr Charles Dwamena obtained 129 votes.

The result gives Justin Kodua Frimpong a second term as the NPP’s General Secretary as he joins the newly elected national leadership team led by John Boadu, who was elected National Chairman.

His re-election comes after a competitive contest involving four candidates for the party’s General Secretary position.
