A cloud of tension and fear has enveloped the Manso Nkwanta Constituency after shocking reports of assault and intimidation emerged during the NPP’s ongoing album compilation exercise.

Former NPP Parliamentary Aspirant, Hon. Fredrick Kwadwo Nkansah, widely known as Hon. Yentumi, has strongly condemned the alleged attack on a polling station executive, describing the incident as unfortunate, disturbing, and a threat to the peace and stability of the constituency.

In a strongly worded press statement, Hon. Yentumi revealed that beyond the reported assault, several innocent party members are allegedly living in fear amid threats, intimidation, and warnings of further violence.

The outspoken political figure lamented what he described as a painful situation in which loyal party supporters, who worked tirelessly for the growth and success of the party, are now feeling unsafe within their own political space.

According to him, the atmosphere surrounding the album compilation exercise is becoming increasingly worrying and requires immediate intervention from both party leadership and security authorities before matters spiral out of control.

Hon. Yentumi therefore called on regional and constituency executives, the National Chairman, the General Secretary, and security agencies to act swiftly to restore calm and guarantee the safety of all members participating in the exercise.

He stressed that acts of violence and intimidation have no place in internal democratic processes and warned that political misconduct could seriously damage the unity and future of the party in the Manso Nkwanta Constituency.

The former parliamentary aspirant also expressed sympathy for the assaulted victim and wished him a speedy recovery.

Despite the growing tension, Hon. Yentumi urged aggrieved members to remain calm, peaceful, and law-abiding, cautioning them against retaliation or any actions that could further inflame the situation.

His statement has since sparked widespread reactions among party faithful, with many grassroots supporters calling for urgent investigations and enhanced security around the album compilation exercise.

Political watchers believe the developments in the Manso Nkwanta Constituency could become a major test of the party’s ability to maintain discipline, unity, and order ahead of future political activities.
