Accra Hearts of Oak have dismissed reports claiming the club has placed a transfer valuation on goalkeeper Benjamin Asare amid growing interest in the Ghana international.
The 34-year-old has attracted attention following his impressive performances for the Black Stars at the ongoing FIFA World Cup in North America, where he has played a key role in Ghana’s campaign.

Recent media reports alleged that Hearts had valued Asare at $200,000, a figure said to have sparked concerns about a potential move to clubs in Africa and the Gulf region.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Ghana Premier League side described the reports as false and urged supporters, the media, and the general public to disregard them.
Hearts also commended Asare for his outstanding displays at the World Cup, including his clean sheet against England, stressing that the club has not authorised anyone to communicate a transfer fee or asking price on its behalf.
