Substitute Federico Gatti scored deep into stoppage time as Juventus secured a 1-1 draw against AC Milan at the Allianz Stadium, preserving their unbeaten start to the Serie A season.
Juventus dominated proceedings in the first half and created several opportunities, but Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan produced three impressive saves to keep the visitors in the contest.
Despite Juventus’ pressure, Milan took a surprise lead when Alphadjo Cisse found the net, becoming the first player to score against Juventus this season.
Juventus eventually found their equaliser in stoppage time when Gatti rose to meet a cross from Teun Koopmeiners and powered a header into the net.
The late goal denied Ruben Amorim the chance to become Milan’s first manager since 1958 to win his opening three league matches.
New Milan loan signing Omari Hutchinson was an unused substitute for the visitors.
The result leaves Milan fourth in the Serie A standings, with Juventus fifth.
