A passenger ferry travelling from Manila to Coron in Palawan Province, Philippines, has caught fire, leaving at least five people dead and 87 others missing.
The ferry was carrying 134 people, including 117 passengers and 17 crew members, when the fire broke out for reasons that have not yet been determined.
Authorities said 42 people have been rescued so far, while search and rescue operations are ongoing for the remaining passengers and crew members.
The incident has raised concerns over the safety of passengers as emergency teams continue efforts to locate those still missing.
