The Ghana Police Service has commemorated 20 officers who tragically lost their lives in the course of duty in 2025.
Out of the number, six officers received the highest recognition with their names engraved on the prestigious Police Wall of Honour, while the remaining 14 were formally recorded in the Memorial Book of Honour.
The solemn observance formed part of this year’s Police Memorial Day — an annual ceremony dedicated to honouring the bravery, sacrifice, and service of officers who paid the ultimate price in protecting the nation.
