- “From Growing to Greater Glory” theme
The Central Charismatic Bible Church (CCBC) has celebrated its 30th anniversary, marking three decades of faith, service and growth since the church was relocated to Atonsu Gyinyase in Kumasi.
The anniversary was celebrated under the theme “From Growing to Greater Glory,” with church members, leaders and well-wishers gathering to reflect on the church’s journey and celebrate what they described as God’s faithfulness over the years.
Speaking to Lawson News after the programme, Senior Pastor of CCBC, Rev. Dr Steve Paintsil, said the 30th anniversary represents a significant stage of maturity for the church.
According to him, after 30 years of growth and maturity, the church is now entering a period of greater manifestation and impact.
“Thirty years is maturity time, so after maturity time is manifestation,” he said.
Rev. Dr Paintsil expressed gratitude to God for sustaining the church and its members over the past three decades.

He said the anniversary was an opportunity for CCBC to acknowledge how God had shaped the church and positioned it to make a greater impact in Kumasi, Ghana and beyond.
“30 Years of Grace Has Not Been Easy”
A Senior Deacon of CCBC, Deacon Dr Kwasi Osei Agyemang, also reflected on the church’s journey, describing the past 30 years as a period of grace, faith and perseverance.
He said God had been faithful to the church despite the challenges it encountered over the years.

According to him, members supported the leadership throughout the journey, including periods when some church elders were older than the pastor.
He recalled that the decision to move the church to Atonsu Gyinyase was met with discouragement from some people outside the church.
However, he said the church refused to be discouraged and continued on its path with faith and perseverance.
Deacon Dr Agyemang said the progress of CCBC today is a testament to the church’s determination to remain faithful to its mission.

The 30th anniversary celebration therefore served not only as a moment to commemorate the past but also as a renewed commitment by CCBC to its faith, service and greater impact in the years ahead.
