Juaben Member of Parliament, Hon. Francis Owusu-Akyaw, has commissioned a newly completed Durbar Ground at Akronwi after supporting the community with funding for the project.
The facility is expected to provide a befitting venue for traditional ceremonies, community gatherings and other social activities.
The MP joined chiefs, elders, opinion leaders and residents of Akronwi for the opening and dedication ceremony, where he reaffirmed his commitment to supporting development projects that directly benefit his constituents.
Hon. Francis Owusu-Akyaw said the completion of the Durbar Ground demonstrates what can be achieved when community leaders and residents work together towards a common development goal.
He expressed appreciation to the chiefs, elders, opinion leaders and residents for their warm reception and support for the project.
According to him, the new facility will not only provide a suitable space for traditional activities but also promote community engagement and help preserve the cultural heritage of the people.
The Juaben MP further pledged to continue working with traditional authorities, community leaders and residents to identify and support projects that address the needs of communities across the constituency.
The commissioning of the Akronwi Durbar Ground adds to community infrastructure in the Juaben Constituency and highlights the MP’s continued engagement with his constituents.
