28-Year-Old Man Crushed to Death in Head-On Collision at Domenebo No. 2

Atta Kofi, alias Santiago, died after his motorbike collided head-on with a Toyota Sienta on the Bibiani-Bekwai road.

A 28-year-old man has been crushed to death following a head-on collision involving his motorbike and a Sienta vehicle at Domenebo No. 2 in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region.

The deceased, identified as Atta Kofi, popularly known as Santiago, was riding an unregistered motorbike from Bibiani towards Kunkumso when the accident occurred.

According to reports, he was riding near Domenebo when his motorbike collided head-on with a Sienta vehicle with registration number WN 325-26.

The vehicle, driven by 26-year-old Emmanuel Kyeremanten, was travelling from Domenebo towards Bibiani at the time of the accident.

An eyewitness, Agyemang Quddus, told Adom News that he heard a loud sound and initially thought a vehicle had hit a pothole.

He said he later went to the scene, where passengers in the Sienta vehicle informed him about the crash. The Bibiani Police were subsequently alerted.

Another driver, Douglas Coffie, who was at the scene, urged motorists and motorbike riders who use the Bibiani-Bekwai road to exercise caution, particularly as the Christmas festive season approaches.

The police have since conveyed the body of the deceased to the Anhwiaso Community Morgue, while investigations continue to establish the circumstances surrounding the accident.
