The Chief of Basingele, a locality in the Western North Region Nana Akwasi Atto Oware, has appealed to the Chief Executive Officer of Lawson Media, Dr. Lawson Kyei Manu, to support efforts to bring reliable telecommunication network coverage to the community and its surrounding areas.

The appeal comes after Dr. Lawson Kyei Manu previously supported the community with the construction of a bridge, a gesture the chief said had significantly improved access for residents.

Speaking to Asonaba after Lawson TV and Radio’s community engagement programme in Bibiani, Nana Akwasi Atto Oware said the lack of a stable mobile network remains one of the biggest challenges facing the community.

According to him, poor network connectivity continues to disrupt communication, business activities, education, and access to emergency services, making life difficult for residents.

The chief said Basingele has endured years of poor mobile network coverage and called on Dr. Lawson Kyei Manu to once again come to the aid of the community by using his influence to engage the relevant authorities and telecommunication companies.

He expressed optimism that improved network connectivity would enhance economic activities, improve access to information, support education, and accelerate the development of Basingele and neighbouring communities.

Nana Akwasi Atto Oware also praised Lawson TV and Radio for consistently engaging communities and providing a platform for residents to draw attention to their development challenges.
