Unreleased music by Beyoncé was among several items stolen from a vehicle in Atlanta, just days before the singer’s four-night Cowboy Carter Tour stop in the city, police have confirmed.
According to an incident report, hard drives containing unreleased tracks, tour set lists, and production plans were taken from a rented SUV used by Beyoncé’s choreographer Christopher Grant and dancer Diandre Blue. The theft occurred on July 8, two days before Beyoncé’s first Atlanta performance.
Grant and Blue told police they had parked the black Jeep Wagoneer near a local food hall. Upon returning, they discovered the rear window smashed and two suitcases missing.
“We were carrying personal and sensitive material for Beyoncé,” the pair reported.
The stolen contents included:
Five jump drives with watermarked, unreleased music
Show footage and plans for both past and upcoming performances
Set lists for the ongoing tour
Other stolen items included a laptop, designer clothing, and a pair of Apple AirPods. Police used tracking features on the electronics to trace their location and dusted the vehicle for fingerprints, uncovering “two very light prints.”
Authorities say an arrest warrant has been issued, though the suspect’s identity has not yet been made public. It remains unclear whether the stolen items have been recovered.
Beyoncé has been performing in Atlanta since July 10 as part of her highly anticipated Cowboy Carter stadium tour, with her final city show scheduled for Monday night.
